HAP UK Ltd is a not-for-profit company providing professional staff and administrative support across many aspects of public engagement. HAP UK are currently supporting the voluntary members of Local Involvement Networks (LINks).

HAP UK is an independent not-for-profit social enterprise organisation established
in 2003. The company grew out of a multi-agency partnership set up by Community
Health Councils and other voluntary sector organisations to deliver a pilot independent
complaint advocacy project for the Department of Health.

From 2003, until their abolition by parliament, HAP UK Ltd operated successfully
as a Forum Support Organisation to Patient and Public Involvement Forums.

HAP UK Ltd led on the creation of the innovative Community Voices Online system
that was designed to support LINks. The system is being used by over twenty five LINks
and local authorities across England.
